AWESOME SHOW!

This event was so easy to get to, get checked in and get on the inside to buy stuff! I had no trouble getting drinks n such to enjoy before the show and everyone was so polite despite the crowd. The only issue I had was getting to my seat that was not handicapped accessible. My sister attended the show with me and she is disabled (wheelchair). I approached the usher on the 1st balcony and he was very polite in assisting me. He actually sat us just inside the door to the 1st balcony in an area that was very nice! I wondered if there was actually a 'disabled seating area' that I may have missed when purchasing seats. I searched but did not find anything so I bought seats, I thought, at the end of an aisle for easy access right off the elevator. However, when I got there the seats were in about 6 seats...?? to which there was no access for a wheelchair. Anyway, other than that we LOVED the show!! (and we ended up with pretty darn good seats after all. Thanks to the ushers who helped us!! I'll be back in April for ZZ TOP!!!

Great player

Summing it up -- tons of energy, great playing, excellent band. The lighting was good and appropriate. The facility is tremendous: restaurants and parking nearby, excellent entry and seating; the temperature inside was comfortable, and the seats themselves are reasonably comfy. If I'm to point out areas that could use improvement, I'd say that although the sound mix was very good indeed for the instruments, the vocals were muddy and indistinct to the point of being unintelligible and the backup singers voices were utterly lost in the mix. Joe B is a truly herculean guitarist. I admire the variety of wonderful guitars on display and in use at the show, but honestly, through the mix they all sounded alike. His mix could have benefitted from a bit more treble and more "bite." Overall though, a terrific performance.
